Round Barrows in Dorset

Three bronze-age barrows on Ballard Down, overlooking Studland Bay to the north and Swanage Bay to the south. A bridleway follows the top of the chalk ridge; two bowl barrows are to the south of the bridleway, and a pond barrow lies just to the north.

The barrow is a circular depression, 10 metres in diameter and about half a metre deep. It is surrounded by an outer bank 1 metre wide and about 0.2 metres high.
