Shaugh Moor Settlement
Shaugh Moor Settlement submitted by thecaptain : Uphill from the main batch of huts, there is one very good and almost complete hut circle, with evidence of an internal partition wall. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Several hut circles in various states of repair can be found just uphill from the Shaugh Moor stone row and cairn, one being very close to the cairn circle. At one place, there is a row of three fairly complete circles. A bit further uphill, there is one very good and almost complete hut circle, with evidence of an internal partition wall.

There are also many old field boundaries and reaves to be found in this area, and at one point a fairly large stone standing proud of the ground, which is probably just a large stone in a boundary wall, rather than being a menhir or other standing stone.

There are also many old field boundaries and reaves to be found in this area. But is this remains of something more significant ? (Vote or comment on this photo)
