(Site description submitted by Martin_L , October 2009)
Chamber orientated NE-SW. Length 8m. Orthostats: 5 (out of 5) preserved on the northern long side, 4 (out of 4 or 5) preserved on the southern long side. One orthostat on each narrow side.
Capstones: Easternmost (No. 5 counting from the West) preserved in situ. Capstone No. 3 collapsed into the chamber. The other capstones are destroyed (blown to pieces). Larger fragments are scattered around.
Chamber type is unknown. Entrance (and passage?) probably located between orthostats S1 and S3.
Enclosure: Orientated parallel to the chamber. Most kerbstones (at least 30) are preserved, but often fallen to barrows' outside. While most of the enclosure is preserved, the western part is largely destroyed. The enclosure probably was slightly trapezoid (or rectangular). Size: length at least 25m. Width 8m in the East, probably 7m in the West.
The earthwork of the long barrow is heavily eroded and flew in all directions. Height reduced to 1m (originally appr. 2m). Size increased to over 30m x 15m.
