In this huge Anta, which is surrounded by oak trees, all seven stones of support have been preserved. The diameter of the chamber is approximately of 3.20 m and is visible from the A6 highway under the protection of two big oak trees. The top slab is not at place and is probably fragmented and dispersed in the vicinity. It seems to have traces of a corridor. There's not much left of the tumulus.
About the location
There are a lot of mixed information online regarding this and other monuments of the same region. In the official page of Portal do Arqueólogo from IGESPAR is referenced a monument called Anta do Patalim 2, but the information given is of a very damaged dolmen with only one pillar left in place, so is plausible to say it doesn't correspond to this site. The coordinates given are from a location near by, but when I really went to find it on my last trip to Alentejo, there was nothing on site (38.610431, -8.060443). When I went searching for more information I found out that there's a German Wikipedia page with information of a megalithic site called Anta do Patalim with the coordinates corresponding to the last Anta do Patalim 2 from Portal do Arqueólogo. On another German website I found out some pictures that really correspond to the Patalim monument. The problem now is that all the information has nothing to do with the other monument known as Patalim 2, it says there are 7 pillars of the chamber in place. When I went searching further I found out the German description of the monument also corresponds to another monument that is referenced in Portuguese Portal do Arqueólogo, the Anta of Malhada or Outeiro do Patalim, although the coordinates doesn't correspond with the location this site is located in the same property (38.624058, -8.071373). To get things more complicated I found out a Portuguese official document in .PDF format with UTM coordinates of monuments of the region of Montemor-O-Novo and making a fast conversion I found out that Anta da Malhada do Outeiro (Patalim) is a monument located in the coordinates: 38.623986 -8.071558. In fact this corresponds to the coordinates I gathered from Portal do Arqueólogo and it really seems to correspond to another monument of the same property. There is also the reference of Anta do Patalim 2 and the coordinates could also correspond with the location of this one in Portal do Arqueólogo. It also speaks of another site, Anta do Patalim 1 and it also says this one was not located at site. Could this be the real identity of this dolmen? All I know is that this monument is really there for everyone to see. I will call it Patalim 2 but its real identity is still unknown to me.
About the access
Although it can be seen from the highway there is no direct access to it. The best way to get there is from the national road 114, through an open access that goes underneath the A6 highway. Then park your car in an open area near by a drinking trough for animals and do a small walk by foot. You may have to pass through a gate since you are entering in private property. If the gate is closed is always better to ask permission to access the site.

Aditional information:
- You are entering in private property but the access from the road is open. In this case you may need to ask permission to visit the sites.
- The entrance to the zone of the monuments may be blocked by fences, they were essentially made to demarcate the land and not allow the escape of livestock. Usually there are spaces in the fences within these demarcated areas where the access is possible. When entering in demarcated land never forget to close the access gate of the location, you need to be very aware because cattle can escape.
- If you don't see no one near by you may try and jump over the gates or fences. You may do it at your own risk but remember that you are doing illegal trespassing.
- There are no signs prohibiting us from entering so the access can be open but be careful when you explore every time you see this red plaques that alert you for the Hunting Zones. Remind yourself that usually hunters can only hunt at selected hunting days (Thursdays, Sundays and on public holidays).
