Nice and imposing dolmen on the Causse de Sauveterre limestone plateau. The capstone is about 15 tons.

Text from the folder “Parcours des menhirs et dolmens du causse de Sauveterre” :
The main chamber which supports a heavy capstone (at least 10 tons) is extended by a chest of slabs of lower elevation and not currently covered. The excavation carried out at the end of the 19th century no longer reveals whether the two rooms are contemporary or not. The small objects discovered during the restoration belong to the Chalcoliticum (arrow with crenated edges and pendant) and to the end of the Bronze Age.
(possible access by car via the road)
