Lovers Rock would be a decent translation for this Rock. It appears, that through the ages, sweethearts throw rocks on to the top of this rock to wish their union a good luck (even today it is still full of them).
Though I am far from being any sort of expert in this area, this stone seems to be too big and disproportionate to have been man made. It has been and still is a worship site. Stones are thrown on its top in the hope its powers will convey luck on the lovers union.
Info taken from the descriptive plaque:
This natural outcrop is about 7 metres in the circumference of its upper part and is in the shape of a mushroom. It reveals a number of natural "dimples", which could be related to actual engraved dimples, graphic elements of unknown meaning but common in the Megalithic period. It also reveals a cross, which must have been carved in order to Christianise what had been an ancient fertility ritual. Still, today, girls try to throw a stone on the top of the rock, with their backs turned towards it and using their left hands. The number of failed attempts represents the number of years they will have to wait until they marry.
This monument also shows circular inscriptions.
