Re: Dun Dornaigil (Score: 1) by MarkC on Tuesday, 27 July 2010 (User Info | Send a Message) | | Dun Dornaigil Broch is located in a remote area on the A836 (single track road) beside the Strathmore River. The interior is filled and inaccessible but the walls survive standing between 6 and 10 feet rising to just over 20 feet over the door where they are supported by a large triangular stone lintel. Access is good but parking is limited. There is an information board provided by Historic Scotland. | [ Reply to This ]
