Lacra Avenue (II) submitted by LivingRocks : Looking back along some of the remaining stones of the avenue towards Lacra D. (Vote or comment on this photo)
About 35m to the south west of Lacra D there is a stone avenue running WSW, many of the stones on the northern side are missing but according to a 1947 survey the avenue was approximately 15m wide and 80m long.

Update October 2019: This alignment is featured on the Stone Rows of Great Britain website - see their entry for Lacra, South West, which includes a description, a plan of the Lacra stone rows and their associated stone circle, photographs of the aligment (showing its context within the landscape) and the individual stones. The SRoGB entry also includes access information and links to other online resources for more information. They also include a section for 'Landscape Reveals: Sea Triangle', illustrating how a triangle of sea becomes visible at the top of the row.

The row is also recorded as part of Pastscape Monument No. 37286 and scheduled as part of Historic England List Entry No. 1009111(Two stone circles, a stone avenue and a stone alignment at Great Knott, Lacra).
