Chambered Tomb in Lower Saxony, Bremen

Chambered tomb in Relatively poor condition consisting of about 8 uprights and only one remainign capstone in woods 30 meters south of Visbeker Bräutigam.

Visbek Steingrab 3 submitted by Martin_L : Except for the damages at the roof it appears to be a very well preserved chamber measuring appr. 8m by 3,0-3,5m outside. At least 10 out of 11 chamber orthostats and two passage orthostats are preserved and mostly in situ except for one chamber orthostat which is either robbed or covered. Visbek Steingrab 3 submitted by SolarMegalith : This burial chamber is strongly ruined, still it's shape is visible till nowdays. Less spectacular than other Visbek megaliths, belongs to the group of tombs near Visbeker Brautigam.

All chamber orthostats (and yes it is more than 8!) and two passage orthostats are preserved and in situ except for one which possibly is covered. One out of four chamber capstones is completely preserved (C3 counting from the North), but turned. Furthermore there is a fragment most likely remaining when C4 was blown to pieces and partly robbed. Except for the damages at the roof it appears to be a very well preserved chamber.
The described damage and the fact, that it is almost completely below ground level do not justify classifications like "strongly ruined" or "relatively poor condition".
