Cup and Ring marks / Rock Art in Yorkshire (North)

These two carvings, also in Raven Stone Plantation on Rocking Moor are recorded as Historic England ID 1015105, which says: "The monument includes two carved gritstone rocks, part of an outcrop. They are situated on Rocking Moor, in Raven Stones Plantation, near the west corner. They are 8m apart. The easternmost rock measures 5m x 4m x 4.5m. The carving consists of two cups, one with a short descending groove. The westernmost rock is 29m south east of the east corner of the plantation. It measures 4.5m x 3m x 1.8m. The carving consists of at least six cups."

rich32 reports the grid references and descriptions as: SE1193058081 - 2 cup like basin (could be natural)

Please note this page of 4 rock art stones has been split into different pages for two different sets of carvings. The first two stones mentioned belong to SID 48312 (Raven Stones (559); photographs already moved)). Not sure the grid references for these two stones on this page are correct - am waiting for the Boughey & Vickerman descriptions and will update this page as soon as I can. Any problems, just shout! Thanks.
