Cloghboola Beg
Cloghboola Beg submitted by KenWilliams : A very odd and intriguing site, the round arrangement of stones in the background isn't the actual stone circle, its that strange structure in the foreground! This was possibly a five stone circle, the two portals are long slabs forming a passage like entrance. There are at least eight outlying stones including what once must have been a three stone alignment close to the radial circle. (2 comments - Vote or comment on this photo)

Cloghboola Beg
Cloghboola Beg submitted by frogcottage42 : This is probably the best preserved radial stone cairn in the SW. There are 19 stones standing and a couple prostrate. This view from the West shows one of the fallen stones of a row and the five stone monument at the left (Vote or comment on this photo)

Cloghboola Beg
Cloghboola Beg submitted by frogcottage42 : The portals lean inward and are almost parallel, whilst the axial is virtually the same height. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Cloghboola Beg
Cloghboola Beg submitted by frogcottage42 : From the NW, although the nearest stone is a broken stump the general shape is still clear. Unusually the axial (at right) is as tall as the portals (Vote or comment on this photo)
