Friston Hill
Friston Hill submitted by jonm : View along the brow: As with all monuments of this type and in this area, the location follows the apex of the brow. This brow sequence leads to the Holt Brow South, Holt Brow, Hill barn, Hill Barn North and finally Wilmington Hill tumuli (Vote or comment on this photo)
Two barrows, largely destroyed Monument nos 1570014 & 470186. A reasonably long walk from Friston.

Best access via car by finding Butchershole car park. Nice setting but only worth passing by as part of doing something else. Conversion from TV545991 puts it about 50 yards away from where I estimate it really is: 50.771632 0.189888
