Misc. Earthwork in East Sussex

From Pastscape:

"Pook's Dyke, a cross-ridge dyke, extends from TQ 44270507, at
the edge of steep slopes above the head of a dry coombe, eastwards
for 380.0 m to TQ 44630515. Beyond this point, the bank fades out,
and the ditch continues as a double lynchet way for about
300.0 m, as far as the head of another coombe.

Where best preserved, the bank is 7.0 m wide, 1.0 m high, the
ditch, on the uphill side, 6.0 m wide, 1.0 m deep. The work is
much obscured for most of its length by dense bushes, but the
western end is under turf and well preserved. "
