Nant Tarw ESE submitted by Postman : Half of the eastern circle (Vote or comment on this photo)
Two stone circles stand to the east-south-east and west-north-west at Nant Tarw. this one is 68ft diameter and has 15 or so stones.

Update November 2019: For more information about the stone row and this ritual complex, visit the Stone Rows of Great Britain website - see their entry for Nant Tarw, which includes a plan of this prehistoric landscape, putting all the monuments into context, along with highlighting a stunning landscape reveal over to the Brecon Beacons.

Nant Tarw ESE
Nant Tarw ESE submitted by sem : Nestling on the bank of the Nant Tarw, this stone is described by RCAHM as "Nant Tarw, Boulder" a very unflattering description for a stone so beautifully placed. It stands approx. 30m north of the East Circle and is easily missed unless you walk by the side of the stream.

Nant Tarw ESE
Nant Tarw ESE submitted by enkidu41 : SN 819 258 This 8' long stone outlier lies WNW of the Nant Tarw ESE circle. The small upright slab standing next to it suggests it may be the remains of a row connected with this circle in the same way the Nant Tarw Stone Row is connected with the Nant Tarw WNW circle. Coflein OS Grid Ref SN81972578.
Coflein "This stone circle is one component of a Bronze Age ritual complex (NPRN 104) comprising two stone circles (413026 & 413027), a cairn (304782) and a stone alignment/reumbent standing stone (104288). The complex is located on level ground on the west side of Nant Tarw, between it and the River Usk of which the Tarw is a tributary stream. Recorded by Ordnance Survey (record card SN82NW5), sites were more recently surveyed for the Brecknock Inventory.
SN81972578 the easternmost circle, the larger of the two, comprises 12 stones upon an incomplete circumference. Eight of the stones are fallen, five are partly buried. The circle has diameters 22m (E-W) and 18.5m (N-S). The tallest stone is 1.25m high, the smallest only 5 cm above the ground. Some fallen stones must have been taller than this; on the east is one that must have been almost 1.5m high."
