This standing stone in Carmarthenshire (Sir Caerfyrddin) is a striking monolith on the boundary between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. It is 4.8 metres high, with a pointed tip.

Said to be the largest standing stone in Ceredigion (although listed on the NMR as a Carmarthenshire site).

According to The Ancient Stones of Wales by Chris Barber and John Godfrey Williams, published in 1989 there is another stone not far from this one called Brynvaen or Brynfaen at SN 625465.
