Briery Well
Briery Well submitted by KiwiBetsy : This well is located on the sea front in Crail where it still produces a small trickle of water. It is thought that it’s name is a corruption of Priory Well and that it was associated with a long vanished priory dating from the beginnings of Crail, the oldest of the East Neuk villages. Walk down Kirk Wynd towards the sea, pass to the right of the Priory Doocot, at the coastal path turn left and the well is about 50 yards further on the right.
