Devil's Blue Stane submitted by hamish This stands by Crail Parish Kirk. It is one of three " Blue Stanes " in Fife, another is at Balcomie beach, a short drive from here. Another is in St Andrews. The two in the Crail area are said to have been one thrown by the Devil from the Isle of May ,but it split in half. There is an indentation on the side of the Stone, this is the Devil's thumb print.

The Devil's Blue Stane submitted by Nick This spectacularly dull stone is included only out of completeness. It stands outside the parish kirk of the little fishing town of Crail, which in itself is worth a visit, but I wouldn't do it just for this stone. It has a story, however, and that's why it's here.
