Burraland
Burraland submitted by SolarMegalith : Broch of Burraland is one of the best preserved brochs on the eastern coast of Shetland (photo taken on June 2015). (Vote or comment on this photo)
Burraland broch in Shetland is located on a promontory at the eastern coast of Shetland. The outer wall-face is preserved on all of the tower’s perimeter, there are also remains of a gallery (possibly intra-mural staircase) and the entrance. Around the broch there are remains of outbuildings.

Canmore.
