The Potala Palace Museum is located at the foot of the Potala in Lhasa. It is situated in a new building which contains items dated from a reported 40,000 years ago, including stone age microliths and stone cores through to more recent history in Tibet. When I visited the museum in December 2019 photography inside the museum was prohibited so just a photo of the Potala is added here.
