Afontova mountain - a group of Upper Paleolithic sites on the left (and right) bank of the Yenisei, the artifacts found here are in many museums around the world, including the Louvre and the Hermitage.
Parking dates back to the late Paleolithic 20'000 - 17'000 years.
Archaeological research on Afontova Mount began in 1884. For more than a century of research has found plenty of artifacts (stone and bone tools, animal bones and human), some paleolithic sites.
Data were obtained, indicating that the man domesticated the dog no later than 15-17 thousand years ago.
Today, here, 8 cultural layers.
Settlement Afontova Mountain on the Yenisei is similar to many other factors, a large parking lot - Malta (http://megalithica.ru/paleoliticheskaya-stoyanka-malta.html).
