A cave used by humans in the Upper Paleolithic as various findings prove. One of many caves inside the Rosenstein mountain.

Large entrance facing southwest. At the end of the 15m long spacious hall fallen boulders block the access to the rear part of the cave.
Since 2018 this cave is part of an archaeo hiking trail leading to 11 archaeological sites on Rosenstein mountain. It is station no. 10. Sure-footedness required even though they made some effort to ease access by establishing some stairs and railings.
Ambience is great unless you are there on a sunny weekend. Then the steep rock faces beside the cave and the path are literally crawling with climbers. All nice friendly and well-behaved chaps for sure, but understandably their presence is interfering with the ambience.
