Two Barrow Cemeteries in Schleswig-Holstein

Mönkloh is a very idyllic village! Next to a very enchanting forest with gorgeous trails. A broad forest road goes through the forest down to Bokel, also a lovely village already in the next county. Mönkloh has two ancient sites quite apart from each other: a group of 4 large, but flat barrows is directly by the forest road to Bokel. Second site is of 3 larger and higher barrows directly by the road to Weddelbrook and Bad Bramstedt. Two of them are in very good condition, one is quite sqeezed. Very nice walking area!
