North of Appen the river Pinnau finds its way to the Elbe. I found this barrow on the official map, but on that day I come from the wrong side of the river. Happens when you don't plan accordingly and just trust your TomTom. Anyhow, one of those few barrows that have not been placed on a hilltop but close to a river...
