The Hessisches Landesmuseum, department pre- and early history is showing discoveries from the Palaeolithic over Neolithic and Bronze Age to the medieval. The most interesting discoveries are the stele of Ellenberg, two decorated menhirs and the engravings of the "Steinkammergrab von Züschen" burial chamber.
