Wersau Menhir
Wersau Menhir submitted by Marco : The "Menhir von Wersau" was found in 1977 by a farmer who ploughed his field. The material is "Bergsträßer Diorit". The visible part measures 180cm x 120cm x 40cm. The absolute height is 295cm and 150cm wide at the base. After its rescue, the stone was placed 70m from the location it was found, at the edge of the field. (Vote or comment on this photo)

A standing stone located close to the forest near the village of Wersau. It was found in 1977 by a farmer while ploughing his field. The material is "Bergsträßer Diorit". The visible part measures 180cm x 120cm x 40cm and the absolute height is 295cm and 150cm wide at the base.

After its rescue, the stone was placed 70m from the location it was found, at the edge of the field.
