Ancient Village or Settlement in Russia

The settlement Улалинка was discovered in 1961 (Okladnikov), under the old city cemetery on the southeastern outskirts of Gorno-Altaisk.

Age settlement (parking) is estimated to be 2,3-1,8 million. Years, or 1.5 million. TL-years of analysis (old dating - 700 thousand years or more) - tools of quartzite pebbles. Dominated choppers, scrapers there, tip, cores with a spout (Okladnikov Ragozin, 1982; Klyagin, 1996).

At about the age of the monument in the scientific world flared heated debate.

Sensational archaeological finds were the main pride of the city. And there is nothing surprising in the fact that on the arms of the Gorno-Altaisk, approved in 1996, it shows the results here Paleolithic tools.

Now, however, a number of scientists dispute the value of this discovery

Very very interesting... studying AP Okladnikov's work... in connection with COMPARING peoples of N. CHINA and Denmarks their development during the Paleolithic and Neolithic ages... and influence by the cultures in and around altai/amur and Baikal... ...
And found so many similarities due to environment and climate and the challenges and or opportunitues they offer for survival.
