Rock Art in Orissa

Over 400 examples of rock art preserved in the rock shelters, about 6 km NW of Belpahar. 70% of the rock art are paintings, the remaining 30% are engravings. The most common motifs are the geometric desings including rings, zig-zag lines and triangles. The paintings are drawn mainly in red and white.
