Ancient Settlement in Piemonte. Founded in prehistorical times by the Ligurian population called Dectunines, it's said to have surrended to roman troops in 191 BC. It began to increase its size and population with the opening of the Via Postumia.

It fell into disgrace during the migration period and has been abandoned in 452 AD. Still reported in official documents until 1544, its location went lost until XIX century, it came to light also thanks to the efforts of abbot Bottazzi. Nowadays the remnants consist of a theatre, an amphitheatre and some house foundations. Most remarkable, a mosaic with the mith of Lycurgus and Ambrosia.
