Attinghausen-Geissrüggen Siedlungsplatz is an ancient settlement site tentatively dated to between 5th to 7th century BC on the hiking trail from Attinghausen to Engelberg. The site is located on the eastern side of the Surenenpass on what is an ancient trackway. It is a very long uphill walk from the top of the cable car above Attinghausen township.
