Just inside the cemetery at Aure church is a standing stone. It is just at the edge of the modern cemetery just next to the fence surrounding it. An opening in the fence have been made to make the stone more visible.
The stone is a beautiful standing stone. It is 3 metres in height, around 80cm wide and 10-30cm wide at the base and gets slightly narrower at the top and have a rectangular cross section. It is a very pretty example of a iron age menhir.
