This site consists of about 20-30 smaller to large burial cairns from the iron age. Unfortunately, many of the mounds are hard to visit and photograph because of electrical cattle fences surrounding the area, today in use as grazing land for cows and some parts for bulls.

The cairns vary in size from just 3 to 20 metres across, and from 0.2 to 2 metres in height. I got the chance of photographing the largest burial cairn in the field, since its closest to the fence and the road trough the valley.

The site is in a beautiful landscape, the view of the mountains to the east and west of the valley with very steep sides is beautiful!
