Stone Circle in Zürich

Archaeologists made a sketch of a semicircular stone setting in 1914, found in this forest. They regarded it as Cromlech. In 1950, archaeologists found only two large stones at the site. The 2005 visit report on Swiss Inventory of Archaeological Stones www.ssdi.ch questions the Cromlech.

I took the double meter today and wanted to measure the distances of the sketch in reality. I found two centre stones and dug them out by hand. Distance between the centre stones and the small one of the 3 remaining stones: 6.8 m as on the 1914 sketch.
