Investigations by the local historian Mr. A. Hodel have shown that this hole stone was a tenth boundary mark between the two parishes of Eriswil and Willisau. (...) It was put in 1794, as a replacement for the damaged former stone, together with two oak trees.

Dimensions 1,8 x 0,8 x 0,3 m, hole diameter 8 cm at a heigh of 1,6 m.
