To get to the site: cross the river from Hampi to Virurapuragaddi by boat, ask for Raju guest House, there ask for the guides, 1. Timu, 2. Ragu. The site is ±20 km to the west, and only few people know how to get there.

Note: Lots of really interesting photographs of this amazing site in India have come in from Motist.

It is quite surprising to see such similarities with the Wedge tombs in the SW of Ireland including the porthole features, it cannot be coincidence and smacks of travel across whole continents.
It would be interesting to get a date for the earliest of these tombs?

The dolmens are fascinating Motist, no foundations, just balanced on the bedrock like a house of cards.
