Stahlberg Langenstein
Stahlberg Langenstein submitted by peterpf : The tall menhir of Stahlberg, is a good walk into the woods. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Menhir in Rheinland Pfalz

Ca 3.5 Meters tall in woods on southern slope of the Stahlberg mountain towards Rockenhausen. The stone shows traces of having been massoned into a more regular shape, perhaps during Roman times or perhaps while someone attempted to christianise it. Next to small border stone.

Positional co-ordinates scaled from a map source.
