Chambered Tomb in Rhineland-Palatinate

Reconstructed tomb originally from Hadamar-Oberzeuzheim (near Steinkistengrab Niederzeuzheim), open air museum nearby

Note: the reconstructed tomb has been removed from this place in November 2020. The stones were moved into an archaelogical depot to be probably transferred to Landesmuseum Mainz.

The grave is not there any more.
In beginning of 2021 it haas been moved to the federal museum Mainz (Landesmuseum).
You will not find it anymore in Hachenburg.

Thanks for the notification. Do you know if they plan to exhibit the tomb in the Landesmuseum Mainz?
Here are some photos showing the removal of the tomb by the authorities in November 2020 and the transport of the stones to the archaelogical depot in Wiesbaden.

Thank you for the interesting link, I did not know that it was first transported to Wiesbaden.
The information, that the tomb was brought to the Landesmuseum in Mainz was given to me by the tourist information in Hachenburg.
They could not tell me, when it will be exhibited. On the website of the museum there is no info about it.
