johaneninge visited on 1st Aug 2020 - their rating: Cond: 1 Amb: 3 Access: 5 we were there in august 2020, the stone is cutted, the new owner wants to make it to bear his logo. we talked to him. he was a bit shreckened that we could let see the foto of the stone on this site. he assured the smaller top will be lifted again,

Standing Stone (Menhir) in Rhineland-Palatinate

Pirmannstein menhir at the gate of a farm called "Pirmannsteinerhof". 2 meters tall. The stone has his name from the irish missionar Pirminius. He lived in the 8th century and brought christianity to alsace and southwest germany.
