Rock Art in Uzbekistan

Petroglyphs at Kara-Karga pass include mainly the animal representations. It is believed that the representations of wild bulls in Uzbekistan rock art can not be later then Bronze Age, because this species became extinct between 3rd and 2nd millenium BC.

The petroglyphs of Uzbekistan were carved in three major phases: Stone Age, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Middle Ages.
