At least two barrows can still be seen in the Duisburger Stadtwald forest named In den Rehwiesen. One barrow is 20 m long and 1 m high. It is still surrounded by a ditch.
Originally, the barrow cemetery In den Rehwiesen must have contained several graves. It can be regarded as a sub-cemetery of the much larger Wedau cemetery.
