Standing Stones in Møre og Romsdal
This site contains two iron age standing stones. They are both standing in a stone fece, dividing two farming properties. The stone themselves have probably been in use as border markers, same as many other standing stones in Norway.
One of the stones is around 2 metres in height and around 30-40cm wide. I has a rounded cross section and shaped like a standing cylinder. It has a ruggid surface. Around 10 metres to the north-east of the stone inside the same fence is another stone. It is around 1,80 metres in height, around 0,5 metre wide and around 10cm thick. It has a shape of a standing stone slab.
The site has a beautiful view over the fjord and the surrounding mountains!
