The barrow cemetery is located in the Hardt forrest in Mönchengladbach (North Rhine-Westphalia/Germany). It dates from 800-500 BC and was described as one of the largest cemeteries in the Rhineland area. The excavations between 1870 and 1914 described 255 round barrows, ten long barrows and a large number of flat graves. Most of the barrows are still visible today.

The round barrows measure between 4 m and 30 m and are ca. 1 m high today. The long barrows are between 17 m and ca. 100 m long.

Some of the grave goods and urns are displayed in the Schloss Rheydt museum.

The exact individual positions of most of the barrows are marked in OpenStreetMaps.
