The seven metre tall Deiwelselter, or Devil's Altar, was re-built in 1892 with stones of a former dolmen. A recent research dated dated the dolmen about 2,000 BCE.

Access: 2km south-west of Diekirch, across the river Sauer, in a hairpin bend you'll see a signpost. Park there and walk following the blue arrows for about 2km.

Deiwelselter
Deiwelselter submitted by Alta-Falisa : In the distance, the city of Diekirch. Closer, road N.14. At (49.8612, 6.1606) : the entrance of the (one-lane, asphalted) field track. After a "S-turn", take this 100 m long field track going uphill up to the edge of the wood, where this photo was taken. Then, about 500 m on a well signposted path. August 2016.
