Rock Art in Hordaland
The rock art site is located on a bare rocky outcrop around 10X4 metres in size. The rock outcrop slopes down to the south and the carvings are located around 6 metres up on the rock surface and 1 metre from a high vertical drop in the East.
The carvings are of the typical bronze boat carvings. Two large boat figures are visible. They are both long, around 1 metres in lenght. They are carved one on top of the other with around 20 centimetres apart. The boat on the top have 30 vertical "crew lines" while the lower one has 26. The carvings have never been painted in later years but the carvings are easy to find and photograph. The lines are 1-4 centimetres wide.
The site has a small information poster and lies at the end of a narrow footpath from a local farm.
