Stenen van Sint-Pietersberg submitted by Alta-Falisa : The set of five stones (yes, there is a small, fifth one). The other two a just meters away, behind the photographer. JUL.2017 (Vote or comment on this photo)
A former Stone Circle (?) ; more probably random stones.

At the end of the 19th century, nine stones were found on the Sint-Pietesberg (Mount St-Peter), near Maastricht, and moved downtown : two of them have been placed at the entrance of the way to the Natuurhistorisch Museum (Natural History Museum), five on the nearby small square Bosquetplein, the last two being lost (?).
The coordinates correspond to the five-stone set.

To be noted that, at about the same period, a similar displacement of stones occurred in Hasselt (Belgium)
