Cairn in Hordaland
The rocky point called Todneset is believed to have been a important pagan ritual site. There are known several finds from this area, today the site consists of a standing stone and a cairn. The cairn was believed to be a burial cairn but revealed a sort of "altar" or "Horg".

The cairn is 20 metres in diameter and 1,5 metres in height today. It was orignally larger. In the center of the cairn is a bricked up platform made out of several flat stone slabs forming a sort of table or platform. The platform is 2,7X2,7 metres in size and around 0,5 metres in height. Around the table is a wall of larger stones, around 0,5 metres in height. Around the stone table was numerous burned animal bones and seashells. This feature is believed to be a sort of pagan altar or Horg and the cairn have been built up over the table.

The standing stone is around 3 metres in height, around 70cm wide at the base and around 20cm thick. It is narrower at the top and the top forms a point. The stone was previously in the centre of a stone circle. The stone circle was removed and the stone was moved, it was later put up again on its original location. The stone is tilting slightli to one side.
