Museum in Liège

In the Gothic basement of the castle, the museum of archaeology preserves all the finds made in the vicinity of the castle (but this part of the castle is presently closed for restoration [still closed in 2017]).
Other rooms contain works of art collected by the owners.

In the park, the "Menhir du Grand Bois" is part of the collections.

From the end of the 17th century (1698) and for three centuries, the whole domain belonged to the House van den Steen. Count G. van den Steen (1905-1999), its last private owner, bequeathed it to the State (to the Province of Liège) upon his death.
The coordinates given refer to the entrance of the domain.
