Standing Stone in Province of Luxembourg, Belgium.
Remarkably white quartzite stone, found in the region.
The regional newspapers gave plenty of information about it when it was decided in 1970 to bring it to Neufchâteau, the nearest town, where it stands today.
One of several sources : Menhir de Lahérie
Information board with photos of its discovery and newspaper cuts next to it.
To be noted that the region is rich in such outcrops or loose stones, e.g. the Polishing Stone of Sart : Polissoir de Sart.
