Marker Stone in Antwerpen

A former marker stone, erected around 1620 at the limits of no less than seven principalities (Mol, Balen, Dessel, Lommel, Luyckgestel, Postel and Bergeyk).
It became redundant in 1843, and, with time, ended up buried.
Re-discovered in 1981, it was re-erected where it once stood : where an ancient road (kept unsurfaced) crosses a small river.

Signposted along road N.136 at (51.2493, 5.1875) ; from there, 2000 m in straight line on an earth road, suitable for an ordinary car. The Steen der Zeven Heerlijkheden stands on the outer side of the first bend, just before the (2-metre wide) river.
