Round Barrow in Georgia

A 12 metre high, 100 metre diameter burial tumulus (kurgan) dating from the second half of the 3rd millennium BCE.

"Although the kurgan was pillaged a long time ago, probably soon after the inhumation, many exceptional finds were made: two wooden four-wheel carts, a wooden armchair, decorated pottery and wooden crockery, flint and obsidian arrowheads, jewellery made of gold, of semi-precious stones and of amber, and so on."
The Rich Kurgans of the Ancient Bronze in Eastern Georgia by Zurab Makharadze.

The beautiful obsidian arrowheads found here came from Mt. Chikiani.
