Hillfort in Russia

Dattykh hillfort - Dzurdzik gate. In the vicinity of the village of Dattykh, in the gorge of the Fartanga River (foothills of the Assinovskaya depression), there are ruins of ancient stone structures, which are a single fortification system of stone, defensive fortifications and forts.

Here, in the dense forests, there are remains of ancient buildings: dwellings, hollow towers, walls of towers and other structures, a protective wall up to 12 meters high and 1 m thick, which stretches from the ridge to the 3.5 km ridge, thus closing the passage in Gorge from the foothills and plains. Like the Derbent Wall, it abounds with high towers every 30-40 m, each with windows-loopholes.

Near the fortresses found many attributes of a fairly large industry, which indicates that there was once a stormy urban activity.

In addition, I would like to note the version of the researchers that construction technology is precisely from these fortifications and defensive structures are the basis of the architecture of ancient builders who lived in the territory of modern Ingushetia.

These and other ancient sites in these places, none of the archaeologists, except for visual observation and a brief description of what they saw, seriously studied them in depth, and does not think to do it. The gates of the zurzuk await their discoverers. The indifference of modern historians and archaeologists to these archaeological monuments causes confusion.
